The first class is primarily devoted to introducing participants to the basic use of the Google Meet tool, and the Play lab environment on code.org. In this class we will focus on learning screen sharing, switching browser tabs, and basic building blocks such as loops, collisions and movement.
In this class we will focus on moving a character. We will use the knowledge we will gain today in all future environments, so it is important that the children understand exactly how to set and determine where the character should move.
Today in class we will learn about a new environment - ScratchJr. We will start by making sure that all participants have the environment installed, ScratchJr unlike regular scratch does not have an online version. In class we will learn how to create our own scenes, and create a game with dynamic obstacles.
In class we will learn how to create a character control system, and what messages are and what they are used for.
During the classes, we will prepare a short animation about the Animal Olympics. During the classes, we will learn more about the controls and adding visual effects to our characters.
During the class we will create a simple game combined with animation, solidifying the knowledge we have gained so far. In addition, we will also learn how to overlay a camera image on a part of a ghost.
During this class we will mainly focus on creating graphics for the Flappy bird project, and set up the initial configuration of the souls.
Today in class we will program the remaining functionalities of the Flappy bird game.
In this class, for the first time we will be using an environment where the way blocks work is represented by text rather than graphics, we will create a game based on the popular game Minecraft. We will face a series of challenges such as digging up diamonds and shearing sheep!
In this class, the most important topics discussed during the semester will be repeated in the form of self-directed assignments to be done by the course participants under the guidance of the teacher.
In this lesson we will learn about the Scratch programming environment, find out what coordinates are, and familiarise ourselves with the category movement, and partly with the categories events, control, appearance and sensors.
In the lesson, we will learn about the appearance category, and individual blocks from the variables, sensors and expressions categories to create the game ‘Magic Mirror’.
In this class we will learn about messages in Scratch. In addition, the blocks and categories learned earlier will be consolidated.
During classes, we will repeat the acquired topics in the Scratch environment and we will get acquainted with the sounds category.
The aim of the lesson is to consolidate the acquired knowledge and to learn the blocks from the categories sensors.
During class we will practice the logic concepts we have learned in the Scratch environment. In addition, we will show that programming can also be creative fun (next term we will learn how to add our own characters to the game - in this case characters from the game Minecraft).
During class we will create a two-player game! In the game we will play penguins whose task is to collect falling cakes. Whoever collects 10 cakes first wins. After class, let each participant play with a brother, sister, cousin or parents.
Minecraft in Scratch? Hassle-free! Join the mission where you will sit at the helm of your own Crafting Table. Move blocks, create and play. Minecraft experience guaranteed!
Angry Birds can be found not only on the tablet or in the cinema room. If you search well, you will also find them in our classes. Join the Angry Birds team and hunt bad pigs today, tasked with taking over the world.
The mission isn't over yet. We have to fight the pigs again - but this time there are many more of them than the last time.
In this lesson we learned a new category / extension - “Pen” and created a simple graphics editor. Thanks to the extension we were able to show how graphics manipulation is possible thanks to Scratch.
Hello! Hello! Do we have math fans on board here? If so, we catch the wind in the sails and act. Today we will show you that mathematics does not have to be boring and can be used in programming in many ways. During the classes, an educational mathematical animation will be created to solve simple tasks. Arithmetic activities will be shown - multiplication and addition.
It's another season in Fortnite; do you know how to prepare yourself? Jump behind Scratch's rudder and do some training with the harvesting tool. Wander around the board and hit critical points. Thanks to our training, no Battle Royal will be scary for you. During the classes, we will learn about the draw mechanics and the possibilities of its application in creating games. We will also discuss basic information about the loop.
Road safety is essential. We have to help our hero to get to the other side of the street, but unfortunately, cars drive like crazy. Take a look to the left, look to the right and run. During the lesson, we will create a game that consists of crossing the character through a busy street and avoid being hit by driving cars. During the game's creation, you will be shown the transmission of messages and a countdown of time using a stopwatch.
The rest of our journey. We almost succeeded but there are more and more cars. Can you do it? The lesson aims at completing the previous game and summarizing the knowledge gained by completing the project set by the teacher on your own.
Are you familiar with names such as Enderman, Creeper or Ghast? In this class, we will move to a completely new dimension. Thanks to the MakeCode platform, we will be able to penetrate the world of Minecraft and program it according to your own idea. We do not wait - The Minecraft portal is closing soon.
Survival of the first night is one of the most crucial moments in Minecraft. Usually, we have only basic raw materials to build a wooden hut. How about an anatomical hut made of bedrock? On the first day! We will learn the basics of building construction and design, adding doors and various defensive elements.
Parkour is one of the most entertaining features of Minecraft, right after Bed Wars. Are you ready to jump platforms, avoid traps and high jumps? If yes, put on the comfy shoes and jump on the track. Fear of heights? Then don't look down! This is the next part of Minecraft construction. Class is entirely dedicated to high-track advancement.
We continue the parkour adventure. First, 100-metre run, then, rim jump and high wire trick. Can you make it? The classes are the continuation of the previous sessions.
Time to evaluate our adventure. Get the mouse and the keyboard and let's show off. Revision will be based on the students' knowledge. Students will have to finish the given tasks on their own.
Our first lesson will be mostly about getting to know the Tynker programming environment. We’ll show similarities to Scratch and some new features that aren’t available in it. We’ll develop a project in which we’ll review our knowledge from the previous semester.
In this lesson, we’ll create an extensive game which will use built-in Tynker functionalities used to create games with a camera looking from above. The will include two levels. In the first part of this lesson, we’ll create the first level and program our game characters.
In this lesson, we’ll continue the previous one. We’ll develop the second level of the game in which we’ll design traps, obstacles, a final battle with a boss, and modify our map.
In this lesson, we’ll create a classic platformer in the Tynker environment. We’ll add mechanics and items typical for this type of game and create the first level of our game.
In this lesson we’ll continue our project from the previous one. We’ll finish creating the map of the first level and add a portal to the next one where we’ll fight the final boss.
Wow! In cooperation with the Giant, we managed to open a portal to Minecraft. Step in with us and you'll learn how to program Steve to become the Lord of the World...
